Student Wellbeing
Here to support you
There is a Drop-In every day 12pm to 2pm in the Wellbeing Hubs in Bridgend and Pencoed where you can speak to a Wellbeing Officer, or request an appointment with a Counsellor. Our Wellbeing Officers are here to ensure you are safe in College and the local Community.
Students who study at Bridgend College will benefit from a variety of opportunities, activities and events which will enrich their student experience and champion learner voice. Students can sign up to monthly run societies, apply to become Bridgend College Ambassadors and support and host a wider range of college events and activities throughout the year to make friends and have fun.
The College recognises that in supporting its learners, it has a much wider role than simply protecting you from neglect, abuse or discrimination. The role involves keeping you safe from accidents, crime and bullying and actively promoting your welfare and positive life experiences for you in a healthy, safe, diverse and welcoming environment.
Whilst at College if you have any concerns, worries or queries with regard to your safety or wellbeing, please contact our Student Wellbeing Officers:
