StARs are Student Academic Representatives
Your main duties will include:
- Representing your course area
- Communicating the voice of students
- Working with other campuses, ambassadors and staff
- Attending meetings and being visible in your course area to promote the role to other students

- Motivated
Student Ambassadors support a variety of college events
The role provides an excellent opportunity to develop your leadership and communication skills. The role can also be included in your CV and application form for university. College events could include open evenings, freshers’ fayre and wellbeing events.
Main Duties of a Student Ambassador include:
- Attending College events and promoting the College in a positive way
- Speaking to members of the public, staff members and fellow learners respectfully
- Behaving in an appropriate manner, both inside and outside college
- Wearing the issued clothing when representing the College as an Ambassador
