Former student wins ‘Business Student of the Year’ in glitzy award ceremony
Congratulations to our former student Daniel Ralph who won the Bridgend Business Forum ‘Business Student of the Year’ award recently!
Daniel, who studied the Level 3 Extended Diploma in Creative Media Production and with the support of Bridgend College Entrepreneurship Officer, Ruth Rowe, recently set up his own business, Blue Bench Media.
Daniel uses his creative media skills to make 360-degree tours of buildings and has been working in collaboration with the College’s Cyfleoedd department to help students visualise their potential future workplace. He’s currently working on footage for Bridgend Fire Station and will shortly be moving on to the Vale Resort!
Daniel praised the College for the support he’s received over the last 3 years and said,
“The College have supported me immensely throughout and I’ve learnt a lot about running my own business.”
He’s now off to the University of Wales Trinity St David in Swansea to study Film and Television and plans to keep Blue Bench Media going as a side project for the meantime.
We’re so proud of Daniel and wish him every success for the future!
