This course includes instinctive behaviour of domestic dogs and training methods.
Overview and modules
Topics will include:
- Describing at least four examples of instinctive behaviour in the domestic dog
- Describing at least four examples of learned behaviour in the domestic dog
- Observing and recording examples of such types of behaviour
- Describing training methods used which rely on the ‘nature’ and ‘nurture’ of the domestic dog
- Assessing the effectiveness of such techniques
