This course will enable you to be proficient in the application of specialised makeup for theatrical and media purposes.
Overview and modules
You will have the opportunity to create a totally unique example of makeup artistry with the use of prosthetics. This course will be Easter animal-themed giving you the choice to complete a full rabbit or chick makeup including a nose/beak prosthetic using makeup face paint and additional embellishments. You will gain an understanding of the big difference between a special effects makeup kit and a catwalk makeup kit.
Skin sensitive tests will need to take place as you will be using multiple chemicals. Kit will be required and a kit list will be supplied to you on enrolment. You may also use your general everyday makeup within the course.
