Course Overview – Level 3 Award Assessing Competence in the Work Environment

This award is meant for practitioners who assess the achievement of competence in a work environment using the following assessment methods: observation, examining work products, oral questioning and discussion, use of others (e.g. witnesses), learner statements and RPL.
Following initial assessment, the delegates will attend a 2 day workshop for Unit 301 to learn the principles and practices of assessment or internal quality assurance and standardisation. This training can be delivered either onsite or at our Engage Training premises.
We will set a deadline of 1 month to complete the written assignment for Unit 301.
