This course will allow you to develop a wide range of personal, inter-personal and work-related skills, within the the context of agriculture, horticulture, countryside and animal care.
The course is mostly practical in nature with some classroom-based sessions to complete evidence for portfolios.

- Gardening and landscaping
- Animal care
- Countryside skills
- Health and safety
- Work experience
The awarding body for this qualification is City & Guilds.
Assessment methods
Assessment is through the building of a portfolio of evidence which can consist of many types of evidence such as witness statements, photo evidence, worksheets, posters and diaries.

There are no formal entry requirements for this course.
Continue your studies
At the end of the course, you may be able to progress to a suitable Level 1 qualification if you demonstrate a required level of literacy.
