Overview and modules
014101 – NPTC Level 2 Award in the Safe Use of Veterinary Medicines
The course includes:
- Storing and transporting medicines
- Disposing of unwanted supplies
- Recognising signs of ill health and the relevant records which are kept
Assessment methods
Assessment is by a multiple choice computer-based test (e-volve) and a practical test.
Entry requirements
You must be aged 16 or above.
Continue your studies
Your certificate will reflect the species of animal that you work with, which includes farm and domestic.
