This qualification confirms occupational competence for operatives of pesticide application equipment and pest controllers.
Overview and modules
If your job involves applying pesticides in a commercial role, then you are legally required by the Chemicals Regulation Directorate (CRD) (Control of Pesticides Regulations 1986) (as amended) to take this qualification.
This qualification is designed specifically for anyone who applies Aluminium Phosphide as part of their daily role. This will supersede award 009802.
Assessment methods
You must complete a practical test with one to one verbal questioning – duration 1.5 hours.
A City & Guilds certificate will be issued on successful completion of this course.
