Overview & Modules
This qualification is for the pruning of trees using pole mounted, long reach pruning equipment, which may include: extendable pruning saws, powered pole pruners, loppers.
The trees will be cut by removing branches using cuts that are finished to the current standard for pruning in tree work. This unit is not about using hedge trimmers. Your work must conform to all current legislation and codes of practice.

How will I be assessed?
2 days training plus 1 day assessment.
Entry requirements
- Pre-requisite: CS30
- Candidates must be aged 16 or above
- Due to elements of this course being in a woodland area, candidates require their own transport or alternatively must notify the centre before the course so alternative options can be sourced.
Candidates should also be aware that this course is physical in nature.
