- Understanding the reasons for mediation – identifying the aims and describing situations where mediation can be used to resolve differences
- How mediation is conducted – describing the role of the mediator and examples of personal bias which may compromise mediation
- Using a range of mediation skills in role play
- Assessing your own practice throughout the course
