This course is ideal for those who wish to progress their career into Engineering Technician positions within a wide range of companies. You can also progress onto the HND Mechanical Engineering and some exceptional achievers may be able to progress to BEng (Hons) Mechanical Engineering at the University of South Wales.
Our state of the art STEAM Academy will be an exciting new building to accommodate teaching, learning and support facilities for Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics.
The Academy will be a flagship for showcasing 21st century teaching and learning, bringing economic and cultural growth to the Bridgend County Borough area.
This campus is home to an extensive range of subject areas: Land-based, Construction, Sport and Public Services along with our STEAM Academy for Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Maths. The campus has great facilities such as a 3G sports pitch, modern equine areas, sports hall and conditioning gym. Located on the outskirts of the village of Pencoed, this campus also offers local amenities and transport links within easy reach.
