Leaders must make decisions based on long term thinking, even at the expense of the short term savings, be able to standardise processes wherever possible and eliminate waste. Leaders must respect, challenge and grow their people and partners and commit to a lean culture of improvements, make change happen and eliminate recurring problems.

How will I be assessed?
The training course will be a mixture of classroom learning and practical exercises so that the leader can demonstrate expertise and understanding from the program. This will take the form of presentations and a workbook which will be completed during the course.
Entry requirements
This course is designed for anyone within the industry or the service sector with an interest in Lean, either as an effective improvement manager, team leader or as a stakeholder supporting organisational improvement in the areas of Cost, Quality or Delivery.
Continue your studies
On passing your Lean for Leaders training you will be able to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of ‘lean techniques and methodologies’ within your organisation and to lead team focused improvement projects.
