Overview & Modules
You will complete the Level 2 Diploma in Professional Competence for IT and Telecoms Professionals. Whilst you are studying, you will also complete the Level 3 Subsidiary Diploma in Information Technology.
Modules may include:
Communication and employability skills for IT
You will also develop a number of skills including numeracy, literacy and digital skills throughout the course and have the opportunity to spend time in our computing workshop.
You will also be required to complete 25 days of work placement during the year, which will be organised and coordinated by the College.
How will I be assessed?
You will be assessed in a variety of ways which will include assignments, case studies and continual class assessment.
4 GCSEs at grade C or above including Mathematics and English
You will also need to attend an interview
Continue your studies
After completion of the Level 3 Sub-Diploma, you will be able to apply to progress to the Level 3 Diploma in IT. If you gain employment, you may be able to become an apprentice.
Following successful completion of the full Level 3 Diploma, you can apply for a number of Higher Education courses or go into employment within the industry.
