1 year full-time
Our full-time courses enable you to gain hands-on practical skills and underpinning knowledge within our on-site salons. We have highly qualified and specialised lecturers who are active practitioners within their field of expertise.
Overview and modules
This course is run over 3 days a week with one late commercial evening session.
You will learn
You will also develop your literacy, numeracy, ICT and presentation skills.
The awarding body for this qualification is City & Guilds.
Assessment methods
You will be assessed in a variety of ways which could include assignments, external examinations, on-line global examinations and continual practical assessments.
Entry requirements
This course is aimed at students aged 16+. You will be required to purchase a training kit, training heads and a uniform.
Continue your studies
You will be able to progress onto the full-time Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Hairdressing or Level 2 NVQ Barbering.
You could get the opportunity to work in hairdressing salons, spas, beauty salons or television and theatre.
