The aim is to further develop your understanding of the environmental and land-based sector, its processes and systems drawing on moral, ethical, commercial, political and social viewpoints.
Assessment methods
You will be assessed through a variety of methods such as assignments, practical portfolios, presentations, observations and examinations.

Continue your studies
Following successful completion, you can progress to degree level studies such as the BSc (Hons) Landscape Studies (top-up). You can also gain employment in the sector in a number of disciplines such as wardens, rangers, public right of way officers, education officers, forest officers, environmental surveying and sustainability officers.
Whilst at college, you can also access a suite of practical Lantra and NPTC awards which improve employability. Self-employment is also encouraged.

This campus is home to an extensive range of subject areas: Land-based, Construction, Sport and Public Services along with our brand new state-of-the-art STEAM Academy for Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Maths.
The campus has great facilities such as a 3G sports pitch, modern equine areas, sports hall and conditioning gym. Located on the outskirts of the village of Pencoed, this campus also offers local amenities and transport links within easy reach.
