This course is intended as a Technical Level qualification and is suitable for those who are interested in progressing within electrical installation and/or are considering a career change.

This qualification builds on the Level 2 Diploma by providing more advanced knowledge and the related practical skills needed to pursue a career in this occupational area.

Assessment includes externally set and marked examinations, Centre marked assignments/practical tests, and a final cross-unit synoptic assessment.

The EAL Level 3 Advanced Diploma in Electrical Installation will not automatically qualify you to work as an electrician. However, it does offer a stepping stone into employment by providing you with the opportunity to progress to one of the following electrotechnical apprenticeships and/or industry-recognised qualifications at level 3:
