Aims of the course
Be able to convey own feelings and moods through writing
- Describe feelings involved in an event or situation; incorporating these feelings into the narrative
- Use similes and metaphors to illustrate feelings and moods
Understand the use of imagery when writing creatively
- Select examples of imagery in published work
Be able to write an autobiographical episode
- Write a piece which describes a series of events or a specific episode within your experience
Be able to use correct conventions of punctuation, spelling and grammar
- Apply appropriate punctuations to text
- Check spelling
- Ensure grammar is appropriate
Produce and evaluate design
- Use appropriate materials, including ICT, to produce final designs and wording for CD covers
- Speak clearly to present information and ideas to a group
- Listen to feedback and respond to questions

Ongoing assessment with evidence of achieving the aims of the course.
