Animation is being increasingly used to promote products and services across various platforms from movie title sequences to mobile devices.
This course will equip you with the necessary skills to enable you to apply both traditional and digital techniques in a series of projects and workshops designed to replicate the industry.
Overview and modules
This course will introduce you to the exciting possibilities of graphics and animation. Graphic designers manipulate words and images to communicate messages to different audiences using a wide range of techniques and processes.
You will have access to Apple Mac computers equipped with industry standard software to develop the skills that these industries require.

You will be assessed in a variety of ways, which could include assignments, presentations along with continual class assessment.

On successful completion of Year 1, you will achieve the Level 3 Diploma. On successful completion of Year 2, you will achieve the Level 3 Extended Diploma.
Progression from the Level 3 Extended Diploma can include entry into higher education, specialist training or working within the industry.
Creative job roles include graphic / product designer, motion graphics, art director, illustrator, PreVis artist, concept artist, 2D / 3D / stop motion animator, 3D modeller, advertising or visual effects.
