Overview & Modules

Everyone who works with food has a special responsibility for safeguarding the health of consumers and ensuring the food they serve or sell is perfectly safe to eat. This is aimed at anyone working in the catering sector where food is prepared, cooked and handled.

The course includes:

  • Learning the importance of food safety and gaining knowledge of the systems, techniques and procedures involved
  • Understanding how to control food safety risks (personal hygiene, food storage, cooking and handling)
  • Gaining the confidence and expertise to safely deliver quality food to customers

How will I be assessed?

A multiple choice exam is taken at the end of the day.

Entry requirements

Please bring identification with you: passport, driving licence or bank card.
