This course includes understanding signs of normal and abnormal health and carrying out a routine care regime.

By the end of the course, you will be able to:

  • Understand the signs of normal and abnormal health
  • Know the symptoms of parasitic infestation
  • Understand infectious diseases and their prevention
  • Carry out a routine care regime
  • Demonstrate canine basic first aid
  • Make judgements about the need for veterinary intervention
