You will gain initial skills and knowledge of the construction industry, with particular emphasis in the craft of bricklaying.
Overview and modules
You will train within a practical workshop environment. The course covers the following skills:
- Carrying out block laying activities
- Carrying out bricklaying activities
- Carrying out cavity walling activities
- Contribute to setting out and building of masonry structures up to damp proof course
Assessment methods
Practical assignment, multiple choice tests and online test.
Entry requirements
- Literacy and numeracy skills at a suitable level to complete the qualification
- All applicants will attend an interview
