Bricklaying Level 3

  • 33 weeks Monday 9 am – 4.30 pm

You will further develop skills and knowledge, enabling you to work to an advanced level in the craft of bricklaying.

You will train within a practical workshop environment.

Units include:

  • Repair and maintain masonry structures
  • Construct radial and battered brickwork
  • Carry out decorative and reinforced brickwork
  • Construct fireplaces and chimneys

Practical assignment and multiple choice tests.

5 GCSEs at grade C or above, preferably including English and Maths. Equivalent qualifications are accepted, including a Merit at Level 2.

This Level 3 qualification is an advanced level of craftsmanship and can lead to a variety of careers in the construction industry, with a focus on bricklaying.
