Overview and modules
You will train within a practical workshop environment.
Units include:
- Repair and maintain masonry structures
- Construct radial and battered brickwork
- Carry out decorative and reinforced brickwork
- Construct fireplaces and chimneys
Assessment methods
Practical assignment and multiple choice tests.
Entry requirements
5 GCSEs at grade C or above, preferably including English and Maths. Equivalent qualifications are accepted, including a Merit at Level 2.
Continue your studies
This Level 3 qualification is an advanced level of craftsmanship and can lead to a variety of careers in the construction industry, with a focus on bricklaying.
