Bricklaying Level 2

  • 33 weeks x 2 evenings (Monday and Wednesday 5.30 pm – 8.30 pm)

You will further develop skills and knowledge of the construction industry, with particular emphasis in the craft of bricklaying.

You will train within a practical workshop environment and develop the following skills:

  • Interpreting working drawings to set out masonry structures
  • Producing thin joint masonry and masonry cladding
  • Building solid walling, isolated and attached piers
  • Construct cavity walling, forming masonry structures

Practical assignment, multiple choice tests and online test.

  • 3 GCSEs at grade D or above. Equivalent qualifications are accepted, including a Pass at Level 1
  • Level 1 Diploma, FCA Brickwork, or relevant experience
  • All applicants will attend an interview

Progress to NVQ Level 3 / Level 3 Diploma Bricklaying.
