You will start by exploring the pinhole camera and how to be creative with your exposure, including reading and understanding an exposure calculator.
Overview & Modules
You will concentrate on using a traditional SLR camera correctly in order to control exposure and lighting (studio and outside).
You will load and develop black and white film and learn about the creative aspects of images, the basic fundamentals of black and white and more advanced techniques in exhibition-quality prints.

How will I be assessed?
Knowledge / basic skills regarding the use of digital or analogue cameras is desirable.
Continue your studies
You will leave with the confidence and competence to develop your picture making skills. You could enrol onto a part-time Advanced Digital Photography Course.
This course is designed to support those who aspire to reach a higher goal, such as entrance to a range of Foundation Degrees, Degrees, HNDs or BA in Photography or the arts.
