2 years full-time
You will develop practical and theoretical knowledge of a variety of disciplines and learn about subject materials, techniques and processes via realistic assignment briefs and live projects.
You will benefit from industry-standard resources including purpose built studios and workshops and have the opportunity to showcase your work to family, friends and the general public at our annual Art, Design and Media exhibition.
Overview and modules
You will develop practical and theoretical knowledge of a variety of disciplines and learn about subject materials, techniques and processes via realistic assignment briefs and live projects.
You will develop both 2D and 3D practice and gain experience in both traditional and contemporary disciplines including:
You will also develop a number of essential skills including numeracy, literacy and digital skills, throughout the courses.

Assessment methods
You will be assessed in a variety of ways, which could include assignments, presentations along with continual class assessment.
Entry requirements
5 GCSEs at grade C or above, preferably including English and Maths. Equivalent qualifications are accepted, including a Merit at Level 2.
Continue your studies
On successful completion of Year 1, you will achieve the Level 3 Diploma. On successful completion of Year 2, you will achieve the Level 3 Extended Diploma.
