This Apprenticeship is designed to support you with the skills and knowledge required to carry out your job role and support future progression in this sector. You will be employed and receive at least the minimum apprenticeship wage and should achieve the Level Three Apprenticeship Framework within the agreed timescale.

Overview & Modules
The qualifications are delivered by the Assessor mainly in the workplace. The assessor discusses the evidence required and you build a portfolio which contains the evidence to meet the requirements of the qualification from evidence generated from your daily duties. The assessor sets targets which are reviewed at each meeting. The knowledge qualification is delivered via an Online Test.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Competence Qualification – Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Business & Administration which includes Employment Rights and Responsibilities
- Essential Skills Qualifications Communication Level 2
- Essential Skills Qualification Application of Number Level 2
- Essential Skills Qualification ICT Level 2
You will work in roles such as Administration Officer/Team Leader, Office Supervisor, Personal Assistant or Secretary. Tasks undertaken could include dealing with internal and external correspondence, organising meetings, managing resources, creating documents, managing office equipment, taking minutes, managing diaries.
These programmes are part financed by the European Social Fund through the Welsh Government.
How will I be assessed?
Assessment will be made through assignments, work-based observations and work-based evidence.
Entry requirements
There are no mandatory entry requirements, however apprentices undertaking this apprenticeship are likely to have some prior experience in a business or administration role.
Continue your studies
After successfully completing the Level 3 Apprenticeship, you can progress onto further or higher education to undertake business related qualifications at Level 4 and above.
