Overview & Modules
This course will enable you to explore a wide range of industry areas including animal care and management, zoos and wildlife and applied science. You will gain skills in handling and managing a wide range of animals and develop a good understanding of the animal management sector.
If you wish to progress to higher education, up to 168 UCAS points are available through the primary course and a further 56 UCAS points are attached Welsh Baccalaureate program.

How will I be assessed?
You will be assessed in a variety of ways which will include assignments, controlled assessments and exams.
5 GCSEs at Grade C or above (must include English language and Science) OR
Level 2 Technical Certificate in Animal Care at Merit grade
Continue your studies
After successfully completing the first year, you will have achieved the Level 3 Advanced Technical Diploma in Animal Management.
On successful completion of the second year, you will achieve the full Level 3 Advanced Technical Diploma in Animal Management and eligibility to progress to HND studies, other higher education or employment.
