Level 2 Technical Certificate

We have excellent facilities to help you further your studies in the area of animal care, with an emphasis on hands on training to help you get the full experience.
Facilities include a range of small, large and exotic animals within our Animal Care Centre, scientific laboratory and a fully equipped veterinary nursing area.

You will be assessed in a variety of ways which will include assignments, controlled assessments and exams.
Entry requirements
3 GCSEs at Grade D or above.
Continue your studies
Following successful completion, you could progress into employment, onto an apprenticeship or further your studies by progressing to other qualifications at Level 3.

This campus is home to an extensive range of subject areas: Land-based, Construction, Sport and Public Services along with our brand new state-of-the-art STEAM Academy for Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Maths.
The campus has great facilities such as a 3G sports pitch, modern equine areas, sports hall and conditioning gym. Located on the outskirts of the village of Pencoed, this campus also offers local amenities and transport links within easy reach.
