The facilities available provide an extensive range of industry standard equipment, resources and livestock developed with employers to meet the exacting demands of modern Agricultural standards and processes.
How will I be assessed?
You will be assessed through a variety of methods such as practical portfolios, exams, assignments, presentations, reports and case studies.
120 UCAS points from an A2, or
12 unit NVQ programme, or
Merit at Level 3 Diploma with 4 GCSE passes at grade C or above
Equivalent international qualifications are acceptable
Mature learner entry assessed individually by interview
Continue your studies
On successful completion of the HNC, you can top up your qualification by progressing to the HND. Further progression to degree level studies or gain employment in the sector in a number of disciplines, such as Herdsman, Farm Manager, Agronomist, Consultant, Retail, Nutritionist, Sales, Insurance and Training.
You will also have a suite of practical Lantra and NPTC awards which improve employability available to you whilst at the College.
