This morning our Entry 1 and 2 Certificate in Food Studies learners donated a cheque to Mrs Elin Mannion, the Urdd committee organiser at Bridgend, for the sum of £243.19 in support of the Urdd National Eisteddfod. They raised this amount of money as part of their Working Together Unit and Environment & Sustainability Unit. In order to raise this amount of money, Entry 1 and 2 learners held table top sales at Bridgend College selling unwanted items used and old, donated from… peers and staff. In addition, Level 3 90-credit and Extended Diploma in Hospitality leaners made cakes and Entry 1 and 2 sold them.
Bore ‘ma fe wnaeth dysgwyr Tystysgrif Mynediad 1 a 3 yn Astudiaethau Bwyd rhoi siec i Mrs Elin Mannion, trefnydd pwyllgor yr Urdd Pen-y-bont ar Ogwr, swm o £243.19 yng nghefnogaeth i Eisteddfod yr Urdd. Fe wnaethon nhw godi’r swm yma o arian fel rhan o’r Unedau ‘Gweithio gyda’i Gilydd’ a ‘Chynaliadwyedd.’ Er mwyn codi’r arian fe wnaeth y dysgwyr Mynediad 1 a 2 gynnal gwerthiannau pen bwrdd yng Ngholeg Penybont gan werthu eitemau diangen oedd yn hen ac oedd wedi cael ei ddefnyddio, a gafodd ei roi gan gyd-ddysgwyr a staff. Yn ogystal â hyn fe wnaeth dysgwyr Lefel 3 – 90 credit Ddiploma Estynedig Lletygarwch pobi cacennau ac fe wnaeth dysgwyr Mynediad 1 a 2 eu gwerthu.
