Engage Training is delighted to be confirmed as an approved training provider for the Farming Connect Lifelong Learning and Development Programme.

Engage is able to offer a wide range of training & assessment across 3 categories: Transformation, Technical and Machinery & Equipment Use with full course information found on our website.

This means that eligible students can contact us for support in accessing funding for training and development aimed at professional farming and the forestry industry. The aim of this funding is to enhance continuous professional development, accredited training and a new e learning platform whilst having a clear focus on the personal development of candidates.

Students taking the following courses at Bridgend College are able to apply:

Land-based / Agricultural Studies Level 1,2 and 3

Horticulture and Forestry 1, 2 and 3

Countryside & Environment Level 1, 2 and 3

Land based Engineering Level 2 and 3

Candidates must first register with Farming Connect, complete a Personal Development Plan, for Category 3 course a H & S online and then submit the online application for funding.

Funding applications must be submitted during the following windows:

Window 1) 4th Jan – 29th Jan 2016
Window 2) 1st April – 29th April 2016
Window 3) 1st June – 30th June 2016

Once funding is approved, candidates have 8 months to attend the course of their choice.
