Stage 1
Complete the online college application form (make sure you add your predicted / achieved grades so we are able to process your application). Courses fill up quickly so make sure you apply early to avoid disappointment!
Important – Please keep your username and password safe as you will need these again for Stage 3.
Please state on your application if you feel you have any learning difficulties, disabilities or medical needs which may impact your learning or ability to access the college and its facilities. If this applies to you, we will arrange for you to meet with our Additional Needs Support Team to discuss your individual support needs. This will help us to determine if you might require Additional Learning Provision and a personalised plan of support.
Stage 2
We are taking steps to change our approach to admissions this year, to comply with social distancing requirements and to ensure that the safety and wellbeing of you and our staff remains central to everything we do. As a result we will not be holding face to face interviews.
Once your application has been processed by our Student Services team you will receive a conditional offer by email. This means you will need to achieve the GCSE (or equivalent) entry requirements for the course. The entry requirements are stated for each course on the Bridgend College website. Once you have received your offer you will need to login to your application here to accept it.
Please note that, for some courses, you may be required to attend a virtual or socially distanced face-to-face informal interview or audition, or you may need to undertake a practical skills test or a written task.
Stage 3
You will receive an invitation to complete your online enrolment in the summer before the start of the academic year. Once this has been completed, you will officially become a student of Bridgend College.
Please note that for the academic year 2021-2022, there is a £40 enrolment fee for all full-time students on further education courses. Course-related fees may also apply for your course and this information can be found on each course page.
